PREQUALIFIED CONTRACTOR (PQC) AUDITING

We are the only Prequalified Contractor (PQC) qualified auditor based in Townsville. Therefore QSolutions Group offer a local service that others cannot.

What is the PQC system?

The PQC system is a Queensland Government initiative developed to streamline the tendering process and reduce costs for clients, consultants or contractors. Essentially it is a register of businesses who are prequalified to a series of standards set by the Queensland Government which are directed towards health and safety.

Who needs it?

• Building contractors directly contracted on Queensland Government building projects valued at more than $1 million.

• Key trade or specialist contractors must apply if work exceeds $1 million.

• Building consultants directly commissioned on Queensland Government building projects must apply if the commission’s service risk rating is 3 or 4 or if the fee is $60 000 or more.
